How new Blocks are mining without having new transactions

Hello there,

As soon as I create new chain\stream, blocks start minded and keep increasing.

but as far as I know is that; mining new blocks are done when new transactions are pushed to streams.

How new blocks are increasing without having new transactions, what those new block will contain?

There is a setting mine-empty-rounds that lets you control this behavior, and how much mining takes places after there are no new transactions.

In general, the purpose of mining empty blocks is to "lock down" the transactions in earlier blocks, i.e. making it increasingly difficult (and then impossible) for them to be reversed.
