Limitations for asset name

Question

Other than being unique, what are the other limitations on asset names ?

Forbidden words or characters? Max or min lengths?

I've hit the error "invalid asset name" a few times but I can't locate any documentation on asset naming limitations.

Max length 32 characters, no minimum, no forbidden characters, and you can have multiple assets with empty names (in which case you can still refer to them by their asset ref or issuance txid).
