Maximum number of assets and streams per node performance-wise

Hi Multichain folks,

You have mentioned previously that the wallet on multichain can only track a few thousand addresses and their balances before performance starts to degrade.

Does the node wallet also keep track of assets and streams and how many assets and streams can it scale to while performing well?

Answer 1

There's no meaningful limit on the number of subscribed assets and streams – what's more important is the number of new items that in those assets or streams per second. You should be good up to a few hundred on a decent mid-range server.
