What's the underlying consensus for multichain?

Question

As per the question i want to know what exactly the underlying consensus used for multichain.

Pow is just an option, but not sure what multichain protocol really means ,does that means DPOS or something else like DPOW or PBFT or PoET?

It's a round robin validation scheme with a definable degree of leniency (via the mining-diversity blockchain parameter). Please see the explanation in the White Paper:
