Node 2 started on Windows but can't type anything after

Question

Node 1: Mac (Chain 1 is here)

Node 2: Windows

After going through the process of creating both the nodes, we tried connecting. I believe that worked. Then after that when the Nodes are started at both ends, Node 2 doesn't let me type. Based on the similar question asked before I changed the 'multichain cli...' command to 'm c...' (and different variations of it) but it still doesn't work on the Windows end. What should I do? Is it better if Node 1 is created in Windows and Node 2 is created in Mac then?

You need to open a second command-line window (cmd command) to issue commands to the Windows version of multichaind.
