Partial Exchange

Hello everyone,

If Alice were to create an exchange of 10units of Asset1 ( XA ) for 50Units of Asset2 ( XB ) and broadcast it on the network. Does someone like Bob has to cover the offer as a whole, or can he take part of the offer, like 5XA for 25XB ? If possible could you give an example ?

It's certainly possible to take part of the offer using appendrawexchange to create a new smaller offer. But the exchange would not be completed until the entire offer has been balanced by other parties. If you go through this tutorial, you'll see how the process works in depth:
