Pruning is not on the immediate roadmap. Can you please explain your use case and why it might be important to you?

We have no idea how rapid the storage requirement is going to be in a long run.
It would be less desire knowing that we don't have control over the size of db in long run.
IF feature like "Pruning" being developed at later stage, can it be applied as patch to already running multichain or a new chain has to be created?
Thank You Multichain for taking your time reading my question.
I'm fairly sure it will be applicable to an existing chain, because it's not a change to the blockchain protocol, just to how much of the chain one node decides to keep.
