Hi Team,

I created an open asset on 1st node and didn't transfer it to any other node. Now I am trying to do a issuemore from 2nd node which also has the issue rights. I am getting the below error "Issuing more units for this asset is not allowed from this wallet".

I am using version 20 of multichain.

Is it not possible to do issuemore from a node other than the one which created the asset in the first place?

Yes, for now only the address which issued an asset is able to issue more units of it. So unless you're sharing private keys between nodes, that means that it can only be done from the same node.

This seems to be a big restriction, are we going to allow this in a future release?

It's already allowed in recent MultiChain releases. There are per-asset admin and issue permissions, which you modify using the regular permissions APIs and a permission called (e.g.) asset1.issue – see the API docs for more details.
