Why use multi chain instead of a blockchain or a normal Internal Database

Question

Hi there i'm new of this technology,

I' would like to know the advantages that i will have using a multi chain based system instead of one of the others indicated in the title. Probably is a stupid question, i need some clarification.

And one more thing, about ledger security can i have some explanations on why is it secure, or how can i make it secure.

They're same thing, because the relation db build the ground for multi and block chain.

Multichain is better than blockchain if you are making a private one because it offers support for private blockchains and extra functionality. and you are not then using a Multichain in fact you are using multichain to create and interact with a blockchain. so its the same thing. and as for the traditional database well the answer is pretty straightforward. Internal database is located on 1 place while blockchain is distributed. the advantages for both are numerous but only if they are used to what they are meant, and you need to figure out which one you need for your project.
