Is it possible to start a SPV node in multichain like bitcoin provides?

MultiChain can be made compatible with bitcoin SPV wallets - to get started see the links at the bottom of the Developers page:

http://www.multichain.com/developers/

However the MultiChain node itself cannot be run in SPV mode.
