Hi,

is there a documenation or example on how to send JSON-RPC requests to multichain?

Basically, the idea is to use JSON-RPC over HTTP instead of the multichain-cli.

Yes, if you use the help command inside MultiChain for a particular API command, you'll see an example at the bottom of how to call that API using curl and HTTP directly. Also if you use multichain-cli you'll see the HTTP payload for every API you call shown on the command line.
