Convert MultiChain instance from permissioned after time

Is there the possibility at the moment (my suspicion is no) or are there any plans to allow admins of a Multichain blockchain to vote at a later time to convert a permissioned blockchain into a public open one, and switch from round-robin mining to a PoW or other Po(something)?

This is not currently implemented, but the blockchain parameter upgrading infrastructure could be extended in future to allow it, since the changes you mention would just be a matter of changing blockchain parameters.
